Thank you Kusum Neal for organizing our Rosh Hashanah holiday gathering. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, falls during the month of September. This is also the beginning of the High Holidays, and a time of self- reflection and relationships we have with one another and with God. The shofar is blown 100 times during the holiday to awaken us to look within ourselves and repent for our sins. Apples dipped in honey and other sweets are eaten to signify the beginning of a sweet new year!
