The 2018 Stewart Home & School Annual Awards Ceremony was held last month honoring several employees for their years of service as well as their outstanding work performance. Kudos to not only our award winners, but to Mrs. Machele Lawless and Ms. Melissa Ford for hosting such a great event.

Tracy Blacketer, Chanisty Chadwell, Renee Clark, Candice Dempsey, Ashley Goodpaster and Jen Horseman were honored for five years of service and received 5-year pins. Deirdre (Deedee) Cohorn, Pam Stidham, and Tiffany Wilson were honored for 10 years of service with a 10 year gift. Anna Hammons and Goldie Hiten were recognized for 15 years of service.  Paula Tennill, who started as a summer intern, was honored for 20 years of service.  Lastly, with 30 years of service each, Roxanna Surritt and Donna Taylor were recognized for their continued service to SH&S.

To end the ceremony, there were three specialty awards given out.

The Shining Star award is given to an employee with less than a year of service. That award went to Theresa Willoughby, Medical Transport.

Above and Beyond award was given to Amy Ballinger, Pre-Academic Director.

Dr. John P. Stewart Award of Excellence was awarded to Jennifer Zingg, Art Teacher.

Congratulations to all of the employees who were recognized for their years of service as well as their continued efforts making Stewart Home & School what it is today.
