Stewart Home & School is home to the most loving and caring students from around the world. When a student enrolls, not only do we consider them a part of the Stewart family, we inherit their thoughtful and compassionate families, as well! Every year for Family Weekend there are countless activities that exemplify the true meaning of the weekend – family. Outside of all of the activities from this year’s weekend, we were surprised by the generosity of one soon-to-be newlywed couple.

Anthony Luberto and Natalia Maurillo, are getting married this September. At a recent bridal shower in their home state of New Jersey, the gift table sat empty, but for a very special reason. The couple wanted to do something special for Natalia’s sister, Gianna, a student at Stewart Home & School. When you walked into The Park Savoy Estate for the shower, a special table was on display in the forefront of the venue. An abundance of pictures of Gianna with her friends, brochures, and books featuring Stewart Home & School filled the table. Anthony and Natalia took an event that was solely supposed to be focused on them and transformed it into an opportunity to educate others about Stewart Home & School.

In lieu of gifts the couple only accepted donations for a foundation that supports the school. With giant smiles on their faces, Anthony, Natalia, Gianna, and their family presented school administrators with a check for $30,000 from the shower. We could not be more appreciative of the family’s thoughtfulness.
