Robin Wright has been employed with SH&S for 6 years. She started as a Sub Houseparent, and worked on an as-needed basis initially. She is currently the Housemother for the East Down gentlemen and loves her job and those men. Her best memory in her employment has been looking forward to coming to work and taking care of the students, and helping them.
When asked what has changed the most since she came to SH&S, Robin reports her building and the opening of the new Student Health/Medical building.
Robin says the most consistent thing she has noted would have to be the trips and activities the students take. She is so glad to see them getting to go again and to have so many fun opportunities, especially after the quarantine and Covid issues of last year.

In her down time, Robin likes to do puzzles, play strategy games on her IPad and is admittedly a LIFETIME channel junkie!
Before she came to SH&S full time, she was employed by Fayette County Public Schools. She is also a C.N.A. and would like to further her nursing career someday.
When asked what she is famous for, Robin chuckled and said, “I guess my positive attitude.” She states she loves to help others and is very proud of her family. She also has a great sense of humor and enjoys picking at her friends and co-workers.
We know that Robin is famous for many things: her love and dedication to our students, her beautiful smile and her great big heart. We were so excited when she decided to come back to us on a full-time basis and take East Down as her building. She is truly a blessing.
