On January 7th my parents took me back to school and we went out to dinner with my correspondent Peggy and her husband Ralph. We went to Ricardo’s Grill and Pub for dinner in Versailles Kentucky. Ralph had Chicken Tenders which is usually what I get. I got Penne Pasta with Alfredo sauce. Peggy had the Catfish dinner, my mom had Fish n chips and my dad had New Orleans pasta – this is pasta with sausage, chicken, vegetables, and Cajun sauce. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Ricardo’s is a former Southern Railroad station. The floors in the bar area and the foyer are the original floors. The dining area was added on later. I wish that they had more railroad memorabilia in the dining area. I would recommend this restaurant as a place to take your family for Family Weekend.
