We are proud to announce that on May 7, 2017, Cody Davis, our Assistant Superintendent, graduated from the University of Kentucky with his doctoral degree. Dr. Davis earned his Doctorate of Philosophy in School Psychology. His dissertation was entitled, “Teaching Social Skills to Individuals with Comorbid Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Single-Subject Design Study”. His research included our students and benefitted not only those involved, but will continue to benefit our teaching staff, students, and families, as the fruition of his work discusses how individuals with Down syndrome can best serve as mentors and how those with comorbid Down syndrome and autism spectrum disorder can best learn. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Cody Davis on the successful attainment of his doctoral degree and his work to help enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities!
