Another successful evening of Dinner and a Movie! We had another group of fantastic students who really seem to know their way around a kitchen and can set a table like nobody’s business! We cooked and got everything on the table, Seth said a short, but sweet prayer before we ate. Not sure, but I think it was short because we didn’t want to wait any longer before we got to eat. Once we ate and got cleaned up, we were able to relax and unwind in the big comfy chairs at Redmon Hall. Our movie selection was We Bought a Zoo starring Matt Damon. What a great way to end the day.
On a side note, Lydia was full of Words to Live By last night. My favorite was when we were saying goodbye. She said,”Jennifer, I think this class is a keeper!” Is that not perfect?
Special thanks to Barry for the beautiful new kitchen, Tricia for hanging with us and documenting our evening, and Christine for sharing Redmon Hall with us.
On the menu for next week: Meatloaf (which apparently is a favorite around here!), mashed potatoes, and Caesar salad. Pumpkin Bread for dessert.
Hope everyone enjoys the weekend. Til we visit again!
