Sing-A-Long Dawn – Talent Tuesday

Dawn loves to play Sing-A-Long

Dawn asks :”What’s that song? I know!” And she does! Dawn loves for you to sing to her, along with her and for you to play or sing her favorites and she knows it all! Christmas music is Dawn’s favorite but she also loves Bible songs, Children’s standards and knows all of the Broadway musicals. Dawn not only knows all of the songs from the musicals, she can guess which song is playing and what musical they came from by just hearing the first part of the song.

Dawn also loves to show you how she dances and gives the best hugs ever! Dawn loves to request songs for her friends and teachers to sing. I think that is probably her favorite thing to do. She can request song after song as she knows so many. It’s so much fun to Sing A Long with Dawn! The best part is the smiles, hugs and most of all that sparkle in Dawn’s beautiful brown eyes that warms your heart and will stay with you the entire day! We are so thankful for all of the gifts that Dawn brings us each day!

Stewart Home & School is one-of-a-kind community.  Most special education programs end at age 21, and then adult settings focus on vocational options and daily living skills.  Stewart Home & School assigns each person with special needs a special education plan in addition to goals for vocational placement, social maturity growth and daily living skills training.  Working together with the student, his/her family and the school faculty, each plan is implemented on a year-round, three-semester basis and schedules are adjusted as needed.
