Richie's Review - Stewart Home & School

Richie’s Review

Captain D’s opened its first restaurant in 1969. It was called Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers. It was a big hit but in 1974 they changed the name to Captain D’s Seafood. Captain D’s is known for its fish and chips, shrimp and side dishes.

I went to lunch with Peggy and Kurt. Kurt and I both had the chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce, hush puppies and mac and cheese. I had Root Beer and Kurt had Sweet Tea to drink.  Peggy had the fish and chicken with fries and hush puppies. She also had Sweet Tea to drink. The mac and cheese was about the best I’ve ever eaten.

The price for the 3 of us was excellent, it was under $18.00. The server was fast and friendly. I would eat there again because when you walk into the restaurant it made me think I was at the beach having fun.

Richie, that was such a good report on Captain D’s that I’m ready for some now! I really love Mac and cheese too! Thanks for the recommendation. May just have some next time we are up! Another good job!
