Today marks the closing day of the 42nd Conference of the National Down Syndrome Congress, which was hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana, and what fun we had! The conference was attended by people from across the country and beyond with intentional participants, as well.

Two of our students, Sarah and Tim, represented the school at the National Down Syndrome Congress conference. Not only did they represent the school at its booth, but they attended the Youth & Adult sessions and partied all weekend long! They were true self-advocates all weekend long and enjoyed meeting the many other self-advocates at the National Down Syndrome Congress conference. Sarah and Tim attended sessions about yoga, martial arts, healthy cooking, and using technology safely. They also both participated in a talent show and sang their hearts out!

The conference provided such a wonderful time for all of us to meet wonderful families, people with Down Syndrome, and professionals from across the country who all value advocacy and rights for all people, just as we do.
