Kristen Adams | Andrew’s Mom
I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible impact Stewart Home School has had on our family. Living on the West Coast near Seattle, we found very few options for our son Andrew to live in a community that could serve his unique needs. We dreamed of a living situation that could provide support while allowing him enough independence to enjoy his hobbies, grow his skills, and build relationships. We never imagined he would move across the country to Kentucky.
From the moment we stepped on campus, we felt welcomed and supported by a compassionate staff who truly understands our unique challenges. Their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in helping Andrew thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Since becoming part of this community, we’ve seen remarkable progress in Andrew’s confidence.
Students at Stewart Home School are treated like family, and the staff connects with each student in meaningful ways. When Andrew’s teacher learned he grew up with backyard chickens and craved a connection with them, she was instrumental in helping him raise and care for a small flock of hens, which he now considers his daily vocation.
Knowing that our son is in a safe, nurturing environment where his needs are met gives us peace of mind and a sense of belonging. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful community that truly feels like an extension of our family.
