Pizza Fraction

What better way to learn about fractions than to have a little fun while doing so!?

That’s just what Class GED did with these wonderful pizza fraction magnets!  The class thoroughly enjoyed getting to explore equivalencies, fraction operations, and understand part-to-whole fraction relationships and to see what fractions were equivalent to each other by stacking the different pizza slices on top of each other.  We also used the pizza slices to discuss simplifying the fractions.

The class is so excited to continue working (and playing) with the magnetic pizza fractions again!  Which we will be doing soon!
