Erica’s Chorus Report

Hi! My name is Erica and I am a member of the Stewart Home & School Chorus.

We went to the Kentucky State Capitol. We sang two songs: the National Anthem and My Old Kentucky Home to open the meeting of the Kentucky Senate. It was pretty fun. I know I was privileged to be invited to go! Everyone was respectful to us when we sang the National Anthem. A former Governor, Julian Carroll, came up and shook all our hands. He said he enjoyed our performance and we did a great job.

Our next performance will be March 20, 2017 in Danville, Kentucky.

Stay “tuned” for my next report
