Pervading Atmosphere of Love at Stewart Home & School
written by Jean Ann Stewart Banker’s friend
Although I had been prepared by my husband for the specialness of the Stewart Home School, I had no idea how profoundly my own visit there would affect me. It seems that the moment I set foot on the grounds, I could feel the love of God emanating from every acre I saw and every person I met. Fostered by your family and your values, the home/school revealed your love of nature, cleanliness, industry, the development of self-worth, appropriate mental and physical activity, a caring community, creativity, soundness, ingenuity, and hard work, etc., etc. But overriding all the other commendable characteristics of the home, the pervading atmosphere of LOVE manifested there by you Stewart, the staff, and the students was the attribute that impressed me the most. My hat is off to all you as well as to your progenitors for giving to these families and this world a place where their children are made to feel whole and genuinely loved and cared for. May God bless you all.
